About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our growing team at Weco. You will be working on the design, development, and optimization of the electrical systems on our wave energy converter technologies.
What you'll do
As an Electrical Engineer at Weco, you will play a key role in bringing wave energy to the world. You'll work closely with our multidisciplinary team of engineers, researchers, and ocean enthusiasts to develop cutting-edge technology.
Your responsibilities will include designing, analyzing and procuring electrical components for our wave energy converters, conducting simulations and prototype testing, collaborating with mechanical and software engineers on system integration, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our technology.
Requirements
- MSc or BSc in ElectricalEngineering or related field
- 3+ years experience in electrical design and analysis
- Proficiency in simulation software
- Experience with prototyping and building electrical systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus
- Passion for renewable energy and sustainability
