Electrical engineer
Wave Energy Collective BV or 'Weco' in short, is a Dutch startup founded in 2023. Our goal is to provide a solution that can harness the immense power of the
oceans. By developing a wave energy converter we contribute to a netzero future for generations to come. Our team consists of 9 people (age 20 - 40) that are
driven to contribute to a solution for a cleaner world. You will mainly work at our office in The Hague. The office is within walking distance of The Hague Laan van
NOI train station. Every couple of months we do testdays where we will do tests at the North Sea or at the harbour in Scheveringen/Katwijk. Clothing and equipment are provided.
Job requirements
Responsibility
• You are a wizard with electronics
• You put your skills to use for the development of the electrical system consisting of the generator, the control system of this generator and the integration to the power grid.
• You know how to work independently
• (Not required) You have knowledge of working with high voltage electricity
